FAQ’s

Cement is a fine powder made from a mixture of limestone and clay that, when mixed with water, hardens and binds other materials together. It is a key ingredient in concrete and mortar.

  1. KING CEMENT Type 1 | Ordinary Portland Cement
It is known for its quick setting ang strength development. It has great resistance to cracking and shrinkage — perfect for structures such as high-rise buildings, roads, and bridges.
  2. KING CEMENT Type 1P Blended Cement | Portland-Pozzolan Cement
Use for general construction. It is a combination of Portland Cement with pozzolanic materials such as fly ash silica fumes, or volcanic ash. These additives enhance long-term strength, durability, and workability. Plus, it is eco-friendly, using leftover materials for sustainability, suitable for all civil construction work, and fits for infrastructure & industrial projects.

For small projects, a typical mix ratio is 1 part cement to 2 parts sand to 3 parts gravel, with enough water to achieve a workable consistency.

Initial setting time is about 30 minutes to an hour, while full curing typically takes 28 days.

Yes, but precautions are needed to protect the mix from freezing. Use warm water, cover the work area, and consider using a rapid hardening cement.

Cement should be stored in a dry, moisture-free environment, preferably in a waterproof container or bag.

When stored properly, cement can last up to 6 months. After this period, its strength and effectiveness can diminish.
